Jeffery Simpson, 19, of Blue Springs, MO, went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, August 25, 2009.
A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel,
18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. The services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday
at the Suburban Chapel, with burial to follow at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. Contributions
may be made to the Inter City Fire Protection District, 1702 Blue Ridge Blvd., Blue Summit, MO 64126,
in memory of Jeffery. Jeffery was born May 26, 1990 in Kansas City, MO. He was a 2008 graduate
of Blue Springs High School. He was a volunteer for Inter City Fire Department, and was currently
enrolled in the Raytown EMT classes. Jeffery loved to give to others and help those in need.
He was our only son whom we loved so very much. Jeffery was preceded in death by his paternal
grandmother, Lucille Simpson; and maternal grandmother, Delores Brisbin. Jeffery is survived
by his parents, Jeff and Carol Simpson; two sisters, Jamie King and husband William of
Independence, MO, Kasey Simpson and Lucas Clark of Blue Springs; paternal grandfather,
Robert Simpson, Independence, MO; maternal grandfather, James Brisbin, Cherokee, KS;
two nephews; one niece; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He will be dearly missed.
